HTC Wildfire S Android Smartphone Hands-on (Video)
HTC Wildfire is coming with 600MHz processor, running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and also features 3.2-inch HVGA display a higher resolution than its predecessor (320 x 480), 512 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, and a microSD memory card (SD 2.0 compatible) slot for additional storage space.
The phone is a mid range one and offers what it can offer, the Phone also offers 5MP camera with auto focus and flash same as predecessor, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro-USB, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and built-in GPS antenna.
This phone is not exceptional from HTC’s Sense UI, the new Android device comes with support for 3G networks (up to 7.2 Mbps download speed and up to 384 kbps upload speed), as well as for Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz for connectivity. Other features are G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, a 1230 mAh battery
The HTC Wildfire S’s power button and 3.5mm headphone jack are built on top and on the phone’s left side you have a volume rocker and a Micro-USB port. As the Screen is very small one, typing on the virtual keyboard would make some users unsatisfied.
