Aircell Android Smartphone for Business Jets unveiled; releasing late 2011

Aircell one of the leading providers of in flight web connectivity for commercial jets has announced its new Smartphone called Aircell Smartphone, the Smartphone is introduced as the next-generation cabin headset for business jets. The phone has an interesting design that will let it be used in the aircraft as a wired or wireless phone.

The New Smartphone running on Android OS features 3.8-inch touchscreen LCD, an integrated jack for wired headsets and earbuds and supports Bluetooth.The design allows the phone to be wired or wireless. Company didn’t mention which version of Android the device runs on

Aircell claims that the Phone is very easy to use no instruction manual is required and it is a drop-in replacement for current Aircell Axxess flush-mount handsets. The new device is also compatible with the coming Gogo Biz voice service

Aircell Smartphone will be released late 2011 and the price of the device will be announced close to the launch.
