ASUS Eee PC 1015B & 1215B AMD Based Netbooks Releases Today

The “Eee PC 1015B” and “Eee PC 1215B” share substantially the same configuration and are distinguished mainly by their size. The first revolves around a slab and WSVGA (1026 x 600 pixels) of 10.1 inches while the second has a definition WXGA (1366 x 768 pixels) on a diagonal of 12.1 inches.

The “1015B” houses one of the two APU AMD Ontario, C-30 whose heart is single-CPU 1.2 GHz or C-50 so the heart is dual CPU 1.0 GHz. The GPU is anyway a Radeon HD 6250. The assembly is supported by 1 or 2 GB of DDR3 RAM.

The “1215B” can in turn benefit as the model of the APU Zacate AMD, the E-350 housing a dual-CPU 1.6 GHz heart, a more powerful GPU Radeon HD 6310 and a memory controller DDR3 supporting up to 4 GB The most powerful of the two proposed Ontario remains at entry level.

The rest of the sheet is common to both models. Storage is assigned to a particular disk drive 250, 320 or 500 GB drive and a SDHC memory card.
