If you are waiting for a Jailbreak for iPad 2, you can almost be happy with these news, Chronic Dev Team recently posted a tweet that iPhone Dev Team is going to have a big change.

An out Spoken member of the Team p0sixninja (aka Joshua Hill) recently posted an SHA hash via Twitter:

Shortly after that tweet, he posted a second one with the following message:

GreenPoison expected soon; SHAtter Exploit Fixed for iPad 2 Jailbreak

It sounds that as if the Chronic Dev-Team may have found a solution to fix the SHAtter exploit to work on the A5 chip, which powers the iPad 2 and is likely to power the iPhone 5 as well as the other major iDevices that are released this year.

Today Vincent has mentioned that the Chronic Dev Team fixed SHAtter for A5 processor based devices.
A lot of you asked me what I think about the “SHA-hash-tweet” of @p0sixninja; I think they fixed SHAtter on        the A5.

if this tweet of Vincent is anything to go by, Chronic Dev Team might have found a way or two to get SHAtter to work on A5-based iPad 2. Though for an untethered jailbreak, a userland based jailbreak exploit will be needed, which Comex is said to be working on.
