Smart Fortwo ED releasing to rival Toyota iQ Disco EV

After the Toyota iQ Concept Disco, it’s time for Smart to embark on the dance floor with its little ForTwo ED. The city was entrusted to Apparatjik, a Swedish band that describes its work as electro combat.

Difficult to understand this concept very personally. Still, Michael Fischer, a spokesman for Smart, describes: “it is not their goal to create a work of art perfect or a perfect piece. It is a very conceptual project. This is not a group like others, they play in a cube.”

That was supposed to reassure us. Finally, we get a small city that sparkles, placed as a small star of a film shown at the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin. It was conceived as a tribute to the German architect Mies van der Rohe.

The Smart ForTwo ED Disco will be exhibited at the Soho House hotel in Berlin until 27 March.
