Acer debuts Acer Iconia Tab A500 Honeycomb Tablet; Complete Specs, Price and Release Date revealed

We have just reported a new Tablet from Acer’s Subsidiary Packard Bell dubbed Liberty Tab for Europe. Acer just announced its US version named Acer Iconia A500.  It’s the first Acer Tablet with Honeycomb in North America and exclusively available from Best Buy.

The Tablet powered with NVIDIA Tegra 250 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and running on Android Honeycomb  feature 10.1 inch multi-touch screen that Acer claims accurate finger-tip control for personal access to applications, games and entertainment, NVIDIA GeForce GPU that lets customers enjoy HD gaming, 1080p video and faster browsing, as well as running multiple applications and digital media playback at the same time.

The device that boasts an Alpine Silver brushed metal aluminum chassis has complete Adobe Flash 10.1, HDMI port, integrated 16GB of flash storage, The Micro-SD card reader that supports up to 32GB Micro-SD cards. Other feature include The 5MP rear-facing camera has a flash and is auto-focusing and 2MP front-facing camera for HD video recording. For connectivity the device supports built-in GPS, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 is coming with 3260 mAH Li-polymer batteries provide up to eight hours of playback for casual games, eight hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of WiFi Internet browsing.

The tablet supports eReading and comes pre-installed with Acer LumiRead and Google Books eReading apps for enjoying eBooks, while Zinio is pre-installed for reading full-color digital magazines. Tablet will also let you read Microspft Word Document using the trial version of the “Docs to Go” app.

16GB version of new Acer Iconia Tab A500 is available for Pre-order today onward for a price of $449.99 at Best Buy and will be released on the date of April 24. in My view the tablet has comparatively great features that common men need for such a Price of $449.99. what do you think about this new Tablet?
