Amazon to release Kindle eReader with Ad-support on May 3; now available for Pre-order
If you don’t care of ads on Kindle eReader, Amazon offers Ad supported version of Kindle eReader, Amazon has released its new version of Amazon eReader for jus $114; a price-tag that’s $25 cheaper than the Kindle Wi-Fi’s normal $139.
Amazon Kindle eReader is the companies flagship device and and it is thought will bring the company $5.42 billion this year alone. The device, which runs $114, is available for pre-order now and will be released on May 3.
For ads Amazon says that In addition to more traditional ads, Amazon says it will be pushing “special offers directly on your Kindle”, including things like $10 for a $20 Amazon gift card, and $6 for 6 Audible books. The first batch of ads will be General Motors Buick and Procter & Gamble’s Olay skin products.
Amazon has been working with advertisers to make sure ads don’t interfere with reading. The new Ad supported Version of Kindle eReader is expected to bring more affordable eReaders from Amazon with more advanced features though $25 is not big drop on the device since the device also shows ads on it.
