Android Gingerbread Update for HTC Desire to release at the end of April or early May
Recently we had reported that the HTC Desire would get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in Q2 or early Q3, now it seems that the Update is very near at least in Europe. A representative from from three UK has tweted via twitter that they are testing the Gingerbread for HTC Desire.
The tweet also says that the Update for HTC Desire should arrive at the end of this month or early next month. But what may cause some concern is the amount of internal storage space the Desire has to accommodate it. Users who have a lot of apps or games may find they have to make a choice. The solution suggested by some is to root your Desire in order to, install apps directly onto the SD card. Users can also get rid of the junk like the UI and go with a pure Google experience and save some space to boot.
