Apple reportedly to release iPhone 5 in September, Production in July or August
According to multiple source Apple is preparing to release the new Apple iPhone 5 in September, sources has confirmed that Apple’s suppliers will begin shipping parts for the next iPhone to manufacturers in July.
Reuters reports that the newest iPhone will have a similar look and feel to the iPhone 4 while the new phone will have a faster processor, which is in line with many other rumors about the device. In addition to a faster processor — likely the A5 CPU that powers the iPad 2 — and a similar design to the iPhone 4, the iPhone 5 is also said to have a slightly larger screen than past iPhones, as well as a higher-resolution 8 megapixel camera.
Precision Industry, which is the manufacturing arm of Foxconn Technology Group, will start receiving the first shells, screens and camera modules for assembly in July or August. Apple is holding its traditional media event in September, so that might be the spot where the next iPhone will appear officially for the first time
