Apple rolls out iOS 4.3.2 Update; Fixes Verizon iPad 2 3G Connectivity Issue
Finally Fix for iOS devices has arrived in land, recently there was report that Verizon iPad 2 had issue with Verizon 3G connectivity. so Apple has released a new update of iOS 4.3.2 to fix bugs on Devices like iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch (third and fourth generation), and iPad 1 including iPad 2.
Apple has also taken some action to fix the SSL vulnerability that was reported in March.
“Several fraudulent SSL certificates were issued by a Comodo affiliate registration authority,” Apple said. “This may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to redirect connections and intercept user credentials or other sensitive information. This issue is addressed by blacklisting the fraudulent certificates.”
Other notable fixes include an update to libxslt, QuickLook, and two WebKit patches that previously could cause an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.
Beside this, Apple has also released another firmware update that is iOS 4.2.7 specifically released for Verizon iPhone 4.
To update to iOS 4.2.7, all you need to do is to connect your iPhone 4 with your computer via USB and start iTunes 10.2.1. You should now see a message prompt. Simply click on “Download and Install” (Mac OS X) or “Download and Update” (Windows) button to get on to the new firmware 4.2.7.
iOS 4.3.2 update is almost 660MB to download.
