The New Tablet powered with 1.2 GHz Rockchip 2918 ARM Cortex-A8 processor would feature Android Gingerbread (2.3) and not Honeycomb (3.0) that you may want to wait for an update or hack it get it rooted with Honeycomb, a capacitive display. On the bright side, 1080p video plays smoothly.

It would be better this 7 inch to have 3.0 Honeycomb and full access to Android Market Place, unfortunately for long time users of the Archos Tablet have been installing hacked versions of the Android Market on the company’s low cost tablets for ages.
