Foxconn NT-A3500 Nettop Barebone heads to Europe
The manufacturer Foxconn has announced the arrival on the European market for NT-A3500 , a barebones nettop showing dimensions of 190 x 135 x 25 mm and weighs only 450 grams.
Based on a platform of AMD Fusion Brazos, this nettop Aboard an APU E-350 (consisting of two x86 cores at 1.6 GHz and a Radeon HD 6310). It also has a slot DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM (up to 4 GB of RAM) and a location 2.5 inch format. A memory card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet controllers and 802.11n WiFi and HDMI and DVI outputs complete the package.
Foxconn claims that the new Fusion platform delivers twice the performance of previous Atom-based barebone, while consuming 6 watts of power less.
It also offers some high-definition sound reproduction, a Gigabit Ethernet connection to the wired network, a Wi-Fi connection for 802.11n wireless network, a site with 2.5-inch SATA connection for installation disk drive, a multiformat memory card reader, four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0
The NT-A3500 is set to become available in mid-May but it can be found on pre-order priced as low as €169.
