Google releases new Google Chrome 11.0.696.57; Brings Voice Input Capability
Google has rlled out the Google Chrome 11.0.696.57 with new redesigned Logo and features, One of the exciting feature with Chrome 11 is that it has got speech input functionality.
With the latest version of Google chrome you can you can utilize the Google Translater to translate the words or sentences that you speak via Microphone. to do it just head over to Google Translate and click the little microphone icon on the bottom of the text input box and start speaking. You can select the language that you want to translate your talk in to from the drop-down list immediate above the input box. And you can even listen how a word sounds in both translated language and input English. At the Moment the Speech recognition supports only English speech input but expect more languages soon.
