HTC Wildfire S Android Smartphone up for pre-order in UK; releasing on May 13
HTC Wildfire S android Smartphone is finally available for pre-order in UK, and the device is expected to be released on May 13. The device was first debuted at MWC back in February.
The Smartphone is powered with 600MHz processor and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. and the device also features 3.2-inch HVGA display, 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, and a microSD memory card (SD 2.0 compatible) slot for additional storage space.
The HTC Wildfire S Android Smartphone also has 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus and flash same as predecessor, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro-USB, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and built-in GPS antenna. Android device comes with support for 3G networks (up to 7.2 Mbps download speed and up to 384 kbps upload speed), as well as for Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
The SIM-free HTC Wildfire S will be released some time in May.Play.com seem to be the ones shipping it first, beginning 13 May for £230 (€260, $375). Amazon has it on pre-order for the same amount of cash but the shipping date is set to 22 May.
Clove UK hs priced the device at £238 and will be shipping the ordered Smartphone in “late May”, Vodafone also has put up the device a “coming soon” but no information that when the device will be shipped or price. Expansys also offers a pre-order for the device but yet the price of the device from Expanys is still a mystery.
