MSI X370 Ultraportable Notebook now on sale - Review, Specs, Price

If you’re tired of the usual names like Dell and Lenovo, then you might want to check out what else Taiwan is offering apart from delicious roadside stalls that serve deep fried snacks – we’re talking about MSI and their expertise in rolling out computer hardware, where the company has begun to ship its X370 notebook.

MSI is proud to present the latest laptop from its award-winning Xslim series, the MSI X370, the slimmest AMD Notebook. This thin & light laptop is equipped with AMD newest generation 2011 dual core E-350 processor. In addition to having APU (Accelerated Processing Units) processors that feature the new x86 core, it comes with the AMD RadeonTM HD 6310 Discrete-Class graphics chip which supports DirectX® 11 for powerful processing capabilities and display performance in balance with discrete graphics cards.

Tipping the scales at 3.1 pounds, the MSI X370 notebook is capable of delivering a fully immersive HD multimedia entertainment experience, thanks to the AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class graphics that boasts Microsoft DirectX 11 support. Not only that, battery life is further conserved thanks to the notebook’s power saving LED backlit display that delivers bright color while enhancing the overall picture quality.

This laptop features a 13.4-inch display, AMD A-350 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 4GB of RAM, Radeon HD 6310 GPU, 500GB of internal storage, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI and VGA out ports, 4-in-1 card reader and an 8-cell battery apparently good for 10 hours. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that there is much customization available for the X370 just yet so you’ll be stuck with the stock build. But, if it is something that interests you, you can head over to Newegg now and grab it for $580. Buy it now from Amazon here.
