Orange to offer Motorola ATRIX 4G Smartphone starting early May; Price and Plans revealed
Worlds Smartest Phone Motorla ATRIX 4G is finally arriving on Orange UK, Orange UK announced that the Motorola ATRIX 4G would be available early May from Orange retail shops and Orange telesales.
The device can be purchased from Orange for free on £35 ($57) or above contracts. Meanwhile the Motorola HD Multimedia Dock (along with a USB keyboard, mouse and a remote control) will be offered at £49.99 ($81) during May (and then be £129.99 afterwards); existing Orange customers upgrading in May will get it free. The Lapdock – with a full keyboard, screen and battery – will be £299.99 normally but offered at “reduced price points” on certain tariffs. Business customers can get the ATRIX and Lapdock bundled together free.
Motorla ATRIX 4G running on Android 2.2 Froyo features 4 inch qHD display, running a dual-core Tegra 2 processor. The 5MP camera on the back captures video at 720p with a 30 fps rate. And the .3MP front-facing camera allows you to see who you are talking to with video chat. All of this is powered with a 1930 mAh battery. Android 2.2 is on board and there is 1GB of RAM under the hood. Storage can be increased by up to 32GB with a microSD card.
The cheapest ATRIX tariff is £35 per month, on a 24 month contract, which includes 600 minutes, 750 MB data allowance, unlimited texts, 50 MMS and unlimited wi-fi (subject to fair usage) per month. Anyway are you going to have it on Orange network?. check out the Hands-onvideo from Orange.
