Tabit Tegra 2 Dual Core Android 2.2 Tablet from Korean firm “Trigem”
Another new Tablet PC. This time from the Korean company Trigem. New Tabit is based on NVIDIA Tegra CPU 2 and has a 10.1-inch touchscreen with 1024 x 600 pixels.
Most of the tablets we’ve seen so far with Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb have had higher resolution 1280 x 800 pixel displays. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t see a Honeycomb update for the Tabit down the line, but despite the nearly industry-standard NVIDIA Tegra dual core processor, it doesn’t look like Trigem got Google’s blessing to preinstall the tablet-friendly version of Google’s mobile operating system on the tablet.
There is support for microSD cards and Bluetooth. Available USB port connector and HDMI. New running an operating system Android 2.2 from Google.
On the Software side the Tabit comes with several pre-loaded dictionaries as well as access to a huge library of e-books with roughly 2 millions books where over 1500 seems to be free of charge. Other goodies include Color DicT, Wikipedia and Google translate.
Unfortunately, there is no details available for its release date and price.
