Toshiba Regza AT300 Android 3.0 Tablet release date in June for $720 with 3D glasses
Toshiba has introduced the Regza AT300 or whatever it is the same as the bet of the Japanese to enter the world of the tablets. Its design is nothing special, their overall technical performance are identical to other high-end tablets, but what really stands out is the inclusion of a 3D display without wearing glasses, looking as if presented as a pioneer in the world of the tablets.
Already been introduced to market a tablet that offers the capture and viewing 3D images and videos by LG and is named G-Slate 3D, but unlike the LG model you need 3D glasses to enjoy Toshiba model does not need them. Yes while the LG model is able to capture 3D pictures and videos through its dual camera, Toshiba will be more traditional in this area by providing a single camera.
The Regza tablet features a 10.1 “display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. An LED backlight provides the backlight. According to Toshiba delivers its adaptive technology display’ a better contrast when the tablet in the sunlight used.
Internally, the 765 gram AT300 features a 1GHz processor Nvidia Tegra 2, while the 1GB memory size. The internal flash storage has a storage capacity of 16GB. At the front is a 2-megapixel camera could be found, while at the back a 5 megapixel camera is processed. Communication with the Internet and local networks is via 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is not clear whether there will appear a model with 3G.
The Regza Tablet AT300 features an HDMI output, an SD card reader and either a mini-USB as a USB 2.0 connection. Toshiba specify the battery life of 7 hours and delivers on the tablet Regza Apps Connect ‘with it. With this software, the tablet can cooperate with other Toshiba Regza equipment, including televisions, laptops and phones.
The Regza AT300 will first release in Japan in June for around $730 and no information when it will hit other markets and how much it will costs.
