Asus Eee Pad Slider Honeycomb Tablet to be released soon; Asus tweets

Do you remember the Eee Pad Slider Android Tablet that was unveiled at CES back in January? the tablet was in a mystery since the tablet unveiled at CES. and now it seems that the ASUS is set to release the tablet for those who have been impatiently waiting to get Tablet for their first hands-on.

The Slider Tablet has a 10.1 inch IPS touch-screen with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It is powered with NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and offers a custom UI, MyWave. Eee Pad also provides dual cameras, 5 megapixel at rear and a 1.2 megapixel at front. Other feature include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, HDMI and USB ports, and is just half an inch thick, but weighs considerably at 2.2 pounds.

Those who have been waiting for the tablet will be curious about the release date and the price of the tablet but unfortunately ASUS hasn’t made any official release date announcement for the tablet instead, ASUS has tweeted “For those of you waiting for the Eee Pad Slider, we’ve got some good news for you: its launch is due soon!” . According to earlier report the Tablet is expected to be priced between 499-$799 and supposed to be released in May.
