AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Price, Release Date and Plan officially announced
AT&T and Samsung has jsut announced the availability of Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T’s network on May 15, and the company claims that the Infuse 4G is the thinnest Smartphone yet biggest so far. Philip Berne has called this phone “remarkably light”, weighing less than the Nexus S, even with a screen that’s half an inch larger, and with a bigger battery and features exciting Super AMOLED Plus display. The Smartphone is coming with Pre-loaded Angry Birds Game.
The Samsung Infuse 4G equipped with a RM Cortex A8 1.2 GHz processor and running on Android 2.2 Froyo sports a 4.5-inch screen, an 8MP camera on the back with 720P HD Video capturing capability and 1.3MP camera on the front. For connectivity the Smartphone has 4G: HSDPA CAT 14 and HSUPA CAT 6 with 21Mbps. The Infuse 4G also comes with a 2GB microSD card and microSD card slot expandable up to 32GB.
“The 4.5-inch screen on Infuse 4G is enhanced further with Samsung’s Super AMOLED Plus technology. Colors are rich and bright, even while outdoors in sunlight,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.
According to AT&T, the Smartphone will be released on May 15 and will be offered for a price of $199.99 on a two-year contract with a minimum of $25 data plan is required. The Smartphone will be available on the suggested date from AT&T in-Stores and online.
