AT&T to release HTC Wildfire S Smartphone with 3G Compatibility; The Smartphone appears at the FCC
It seems that AT&T has a plan to release the 3G variant of HTC Wildfire S, that is one of the few Smartphones that run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board right out of the box. The Smartphone has been approved by the FCC for AT&T.
More interstingly this is a Smartphone that would support on AT&T’s 850 and 1900MHz bands. The HTC Wildfire S is a successor of the HTC Wildfire and unveiled back in February at MWC. The Smartphone powered with 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and ROM, features 3.2-inch screen with a higher resolution than its predecessor (320 x 480), 5MP rear camera with LED flash and auto focus.
Moreover, the Smartphone is coming with HTC Sense UI over the Android 2.3.3 and HTC Wildfire S is a bit smaller and weights only 3.7oz.
Anyway more details on the AT&T’s plans to launch this Smartphone as well as release date and price are yet to be revealed and hopes it would be coming soon.
