HP Elite L2201x ultra-thin Monitor display release date on June 1
Next month HP is going to update its display offer and release the Elite L2201x, a smooth-operating 21.5-inch widescreen LCD which is just 0.4 inches thick, has a glossy front and a rear panel (and stand) with a brushed-metal finish.
The 21.5-inch Elite L2201x breaks from most design and moves the power supply outside to slim the screen down to 0.4 inches thick and save space on the desk with an easel-like shape. Its metal finish makes it a fit for the new EliteBooks and Macs, and its only video input is DisplayPort.
L2201x equipped with LED-backlit display and has a native resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Contrast ratio is 5.000:1, and brightness – 250Kd/m2. There is slot DisplayPort. Due to the ultra-thin body, the power supply had to be done outside. The 21.5-inch LED-backlit screen is mercury-free and is actually ideal to function as a second screen on a work desk. The Elite L2201x will retail for $249 when it is released on June 1.
