HP TouchSmart 610 AIO Desktop with Sandy Bridge processors now available; Starting Price $899.99
HP has announced that their latest HP TouchSmart 610 all-in-one (AIO) personal computers are available for purchase now. The latest variants of the AIO PCs feature the 2nd generation Intel Core processors for an improved performance. The SB-flavored models offered by HP are the TouchSmart 610xt and the TouchSmart 610 Quad.
Both models have 23-inch touch screen display with LED-backlit display, offer to install up to 16GB of RAM, hard drive up to 2TB, DVD drive, card reader, 6-in-1 Adapter for 1Gbit/sek and webcam. As additional options offer support for 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth, TV tuner and speakers from the Beats.
The HP TouchSmart 610 has a screen resolution of High Definition Full HD wide format (23 inches) with a new base that allows addition of 180-degree swivel, recline to 60 degrees to enhance their use touchscreen technology which includes panel . One of the reasons given (vertical position of the screen) by Apple for not incorporating touch technology in the iMac and HP trying to solve with this system.
On the hardware side HP offers range of options with micros Intel Core 2 Dual or quad core, up to 16 Gbytes of RAM, up to 2 Tbytes of storage capacity and dedicated graphics power with AMD or NVIDIA.
The section on multimedia connectivity and is equally able to Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth and Gigabit Ethernet, webcam, card reader, optical drive recording, Beats audio system and a TV tuner.
