LG Revolution 4G release date reported as May 25th; priced as $250

File this under rumor with a capital R: the latest shots of the LG Revolution display a date of May 25, 2011, which may suggest that Verizon will release it on that day. we have the latest rumour of a release date for the Android handset currently doing the rounds on the web, although a fairly thin assumption of a possible release date.

This LG Revolution was initially released back at CES and it will be another 4G LTE inclusion to Verizon’s family members of devices, one that consists of the HTC ThunderBolt and two delayed devices, the Motorola Droid Bionic and the Samsung Droid Charge.

We have also heard that the LG Revolution will be the first Android phone to officially get the Netflix Android application. As the LG Revolution will be a 4G LTE Verizon phone, you will be able to get non stop streaming from Netflix to your Android phone.

LG Revolution Smartphone features a 1 GHz chipset, 4.3 inches of Touchscreen display, 5MP camera with LED flash, 720p HD video taking ability, 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera for online video chat, HDMI port, DLNA, Wi-Fi, 16GB onboard storage space, DivX support and it also such as by several more great features. According a leaked promo material, LG Revolution is now confirmed to include a cost tag of around $249.99.

Thunderbolt is already out, Droid Charge has been delayed due to a recent LTE outage, and Droid Bionic has also been pushed back, perhaps for a restyling. Like the Thunderbolt and Charge, Revolution is a single-core device with WVGA resolution, making it less attractive, in some respects, than Motorola’s dual-core, qHD handsets. On the other hand, its inclusion of Netflix for Android increases its cachet considerably.
