Motorola Droid X2 Smartphone for Verizon unveiled; Specs, Price and Release Date
Motorola finally unveiled its new Motorola Droid X2 Smartphone after so many leaks and rumors the handset will be launched on May 26 and go on pre-order on May 19th as we reported early. Motorola Droid X2 is successor of Motorola Droid X with 4.3 inch display.
Motorola Droid X2 built with a dual-core 1GHz processor sports 4.3-inch qHD (540 x 960) display, an 8-megapixel rear camera with continuous auto-focus and HD video capture, HDMI-out port, a new gallery application supporting tagging posting pictures on Flickr and Facebook.
Unfortunately the Smartphone is running on Android 2.2 Froyo while people expecting Gingerbread but an update to Gingerbread is expectable soon. For connectivity you have an option of 3G and has Mobile hotspot capability with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
Verizon Motorola Droid X 2 is price at $199 on two year contract while it’s hefty $600 without contract.
