MSI CR460 Multimedia Laptop and Specs revealed; Releasing soon
MSI today announced its new CR series Multimedia laptop dubbed MSI CR460, the Laptops is designed with MSI’s own color film print with sophisticated checkerboard design that gives chassis and palm rest areas a classy look and the touch pad is completely nickel-plated with complete control of scrolling and enlarging, shrinking, and rotating photos easy.
The MSI CR460 laptop is powered with optional Intel Core i3 or Core i5 with the Intel HD Graphics 3000 display chip Processor and features 14″ HD backlit Dispaly with a 1366*768 resolution, DDR3, 1333MHz RAM, a built-in HD Webcam that shoots 720p videos and a DVD Super Multi drive. The Hard drive ranges up to 640GB and the Laptop is coming with new generation an SDXC memory card slot which supports significantly more memory than earlier generations—up to 2TB.
Ports include 1 HDMI and 1 VGA as well as Card Reader support SD/MMC/MS/XD/SDHC/SDXC, 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0 (optional). For connectivity the device is coming with 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0(optional), and 1x Gigabit LAN.
CR460 also employs SRS PC Sound™ technology to provide more natural sound experience and MSI’s own facial recognition software that works with the help of the HD webcam to protect your data. It uses your unique facial features and putting your accounts under one lock and key and it remebers your password and no need to bother about it. The Laptop also sports a MSI’s Easy Viewer photo management software, so you can enlarge, reduce, or rotate pictures with your mouse.
MSI CR460 laptop is coming with Windows 7 Home Premium and a 6-cell Li-Ion 4400mAH Battery and also employs i-Charge technology that enables you to charge up to three times faster through USB slot. The Laptop weighs a total of 2.2Kg including Battery.
MSI hasn’t mentioned anything about the availability and the price of the device but rather promises that the device will be more budget-friendly. Anyway, what do you think about the new MSI laptop?
