Nokia E6 'Symbian Anna' phone UK pre-order starts for 349; releasing end of June

The new upgrade to the popular Nokia E5 has now been released, the new Nokia E6 is now available to pre-order in the UK. While our European friends have been able to lay down their Euros to reserve a piece of E6 for some time, only today has Nokia revealed details for us Brits.

The Nokia E6 can be pre-ordered from the Nokia UK online shop for £349 SIM Free, £339 on PAYG or from free on a £25 per month contract. It also available for pre-order in Nokia online stores in Germany (€429) and Italy (€399). Pre-order will also be available from a number online retailers shortly. The E6 is expected to starting shipping towards the end of June.

While many feel the OS is dated, the new Symbian 3 OS promises enterprise grade security with hardware acceleration, new email features, a fresh UI and a revamped version of Nokia Maps.  Going to the specs list, we see E6 standing up to rivals with a Gorilla-glass set 2.46-inch capacitive touchscreen that ushers in same pixel density (326ppi) as the iPhone 4's Retina Display. Awesome, isn’t it The 640 x 480 pixel touchscreen phone also sports an 8-megapixel camera for high resolution image capturing. Under the hood you have 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card that can take up to 32GB cards.  Connectivity needs are taken care of with the incorporation of GPS, and 802.11n Wi-Fi technologies.
