Samsung Infuse 4G Android smartphone hits AT&T; priced $149.99 in Amazon Wireless
In addition to the pint-size HP Veer 4G, AT&T has also made the over-sized Samsung Infuse 4G available for purchase today. The Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone set to run on the AT&T 4G network is hitting the streets today, and appears on paper to be another AT&T smartphone hit.
As promised, from today the AT&T online store is offering the Samsung Infuse 4G for $199.99 with a 2-year contract. The contract requires you to additionally purchase a minimum data service which starts at $15/month. Alternatively, you can pick up the 4G device for $549.99 sans-contract. Oh and there is also free shipping.
Buy the Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone for only $149.99 ($50 less than AT&T price tag).
Of course, if you can wait a few days, you should proceed to the Amazon Wireless online mobile store and pick up the Infuse 4G for only $149.99 for both upgrades and new activations. Free 2-day shipping and no tax in most states accompany the offer.
The Infuse 4G has one of the largest screens on the market, with a 4.5-inch, Super AMOLED Plus display. It is also very thin and very light at the same time. A 1.2GHz processor powers Android 2.2 Froyo with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.
The cameras on board are both exceptional and “best in class.” The rear facing LED flash supported camera is a whole 8 megapixels, and records in 720p High Def, which is tied for best in class smartphone resolution with a few other models, but the forward facer is a wimpy 1.3 mp, still better than the iPhone 4.
