Samsung releases Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Android Gingerbread Update

All ex-flagship Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone users, you have a good news today that Samsung has announced that it has started to roll out the promised Gingerbread update. Samsung had promised this a few adays ago and finally it’s out.

The first update was released through the Samsung Kies software in March, but due to some issues with the Update, Samsung withdrew the update. Rumors had it that the delay was due to bugs. The Update is currently available to some Galaxy S users in the UK, but Samsung has confirmed that it might take a while longer to appear with some carriers.

The Gingerbread update will bring many improvements to the Smartphone such as improved performance, less battery drain as well as some usability tweaks. Let’s hope everything will go fine this time and there won’t be another issue with it.
