Verizon Motorola DROID X2 release Date to be May 19 and in-stores on May 26
Motorola DROID X2 has already been leaked many times and recently there was a report that the Smartphone would be released o May 12 but unfortunately it didn’t happen, meanwhile a new leak shows that the Dummy of the Smartphone has just been delivered to Stores and after all settlement the device is reportedly to be released on May 19 on Online and in-stores on May 26.
According to early leak, the Smartphone is expected have 1GHz dual-core processor and feature 26% sharper screen with qHD 960×540 resolution and dual-layer anti-reflective coating, 1080p mirror mode when using the HDMI output to a HDTV, and the 8MP camera will shoot 44% faster thanks to continuous auto focus – though video recording is still at 720p.
The DROID X2 is expected to be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but not sure and speculation also suggests an $199 price tag on contract. Gingerbread is almost for sure since original Droid x is confirmed to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update soon.
