Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830T, 4830T, and 5830T Laptops with Sandy Bridge Processor released; Specs and Price
Acer has updated its Aspire TimelineX laptop lineup that include 13.3-inch 3830T, 14-inch 4830T and 15.6-inch 5830T with a new sleek and stylish, thin and light design complemented by long battery life. All new TimelineX notebooks are coming with Intel’s Sandy Bridge Core i3 and i5 processors coupled with either Intel HD graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M/540M graphics with Optimus switching.
The laptops also features Acer’s clear.fi software for sharing media among DLNA devices, Dolby Home Theater v4 Audio, HDMI, USB 3.0 – which is persistently powered even when the notebook is shut down that lets you charge your external devices. The devices have an HD webcam running at 1280 x 1024 resolution and for connectivity there are WiFI b/g/n and gigabit ethernet as standard, with Bluetooth an option. However, the screen resolution is going to be 1366 x 768 regardless of which one you pick and battery life lasts up to 9hrs or 8hrs respectively.
The Aspire TimelineX 3830T weighs 4.12lbs and is 0.87 to 1.15 inches thin, while the Aspire TimelineX 4830T and 5830T are 4.88lbs and 5.6lbs respectively. The latter two also have DVD DVD burners and dedicated numeric keypads. The Ace TimelineX 3830T, 4830T, and 5830T are available now, starting price of $799, $699, and $599, respectively.
