Acer Iconia M500 MeeGo Tablet unveiled at Computex 2011

Acer has unveiled a brand new tablet at Computex named Acer Iconia M500, and it’s the first M Series tablet running  MeeGo on board. The tablet looks similar to Android powered Iconia A500 tablet launched recently.

The Tablet powered with an Atom (Moorestown) processor features a display of 1280 x 800 resolution. The MeeGo interface has been reworked quite a bit and looks very pleasing with the obligatory widgets including a cool circular way to flip through them.

The UI of the device has been scaled well to the screen size and resolution. According to Mr. Lee, an Assistant Vice President with the company, the Acer Iconia M500 MeeGo Tablet will go on sale at the end of this year. Have a look at the Acer Iconia M500 Video below.
