HTC Evo 3D Smartphone Release Date to be in July in Europe; Specs
After rolling out the Evo 3D on Sprint’s network here in US, HTC has announced the Smartphone with same name for Europe. HTC fans who happen to live across the Atlantic will be happy to know that it will not be long before the 3D-enabled smartphone hits the European market as well. When it comes to 3D Smartphone there are mainly three Smartphones out there that include Sharp Aquos SH-12C for Japan, HTC EVO 3D for US, and LG Optimus 3D for Europe, with this Evo 3D release Europe is getting in to a competition in the 3D world.
What it makes aesthetic about the HTC Evo 3D is that it is coming with spacious 3D-enabled display with qHD resolution lets you watch 3D content without the need for a special pair of glasses. Other goodies include a pair of 5-megapixel cameras that let you capture 3D photos and shoot 3D videos in 720p resolution with only a few taps, 4GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM.
The HTC Evo 3D is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset , running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and UI customized with HTC own ltest HTC Sense 3.0 on top of the Android. There are an MHL port that doubles as microUSB as well as microHDMI for syncing respectively hooking up via HDMI to a (3D) TV and a generous 1730mAh battery.
Other usual aspects include Bluetooth 3.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and DLNA out put. A difference between the two EVO 3D models is that the European version will be able to take HDR photos. HTC announced its 3D Evo for Europe announcement was accompanied by the opening of HTC’s new headquarters in Slough, UK, that will manage operations regarding to the European and British market. Unfortunately company hasn’t revealed any particular date for the release in July but hope it will come early July.
