HTC to release HTC Evo 4G+ Smartphone in South Korea soon; reveals Specs
HTC today unveiled a new Smartphone on its Evo lineup named HTC Evo 4G+, but the device was launched in South Korea. At a glance the device may look like HTC Evo 3d but in fact this one has neither 3D capture nor playback capabilities. there’s a fair chance that the EVO 4G+ could get a US launch on Sprint’s WiMAX networks.
The HTC Evo 4G + powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor sports 4.3-inch qHD display boasting 540 x 960 pixels of resolution, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and a dual-LED flash that shoots 1080p HD video, a 1.3-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot. tHe Smartphone is expected to run on latest Android OS.
For connectivity the device features HSPA/WCDMA and WiMAX (WiBro) support, along with quadband GSM/EDGE, MHL HDMI support for the USB 2.0 connection, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s not the slimmest of phones with girth of 0.47 inches (12.05mm) and it adds some solid heft with its 5.64oz (160 g) of weight.
The company hasn’t revealed anything about the release date or price of the Samrtphone and there is chance the smartphone to be available in US on Sprint’s network.
