Lenovo ThinkPad, IdeaPad Tablets release date expecting this month; Expected Price and Specs Review
Lenovo has two new tablet set to launch in the coming weeks. The company has sent a note to members of its affiliate program letting them know that the IdeaPad K1 Android tablet will be announced in late June or early July. A little note from the outfit’s Affiliate Program, pictured above, shows the Android-packing IdeaPad K1 will, unsurprisingly, debut in late June or July, with a June 28th arrival being pegged for its rumored ThinkPad tablet.
The affiliate newsletter also mentions a ThinkPad Tablet which will be announced on June 28th. It’s not entirely clear whether this is the same ThinkPad Android tablet we heard about back in April or if it’s a new convertible slate PC running Windows. We should have an answer by early next week.
What’s more, we could see a refresh of the company’s IdeaCentre all-in-one coming our way August 30th. Looks like this summer could be a hot one for Lenovo, but we’ll just have to wait and see how things pan out.
The IdeaPad K1 will have a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, and run Google Android 3.x. It’s expected to retail for about $500.
