LG Optimus 3D Smartphone officially released in Europe; Specs and Price
After a long time of wait, LG has eventually released its first 3D Smartphone LG Optimus 3D in Europe, running on Android the Smartphone is called by LG as the world’s first tri-dual architecture smartphone. The Smartphone will be direct competitor to the HTC EVO 3D Android Smartphone.
The Smartphone with stunning design and 4.3 inch WVGA 3D display that doesn’t require any kind of glasses is powered by a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP4430 processor with Cortex A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. The Optimus 3D uses dual-core processor, dual-channel memory and dual memory, which gives it the aforementioned title. LG Optimus 3D to be the first to use dual channel. It helps the Smartphone improve in performance while running certain application.
The LG Optimus 3D also features 8GB internal memory, Special software allows for real-time conversion of 2D photo and video content into 3D, dual 5 megapixel rear camera that can shoot 1080p videos at 24fps and 720p videos at 30fps, HDMI out put that lets you share your captured 3D content with 3D TV and MicroSD card slot expandable up to 32GB. Users can upload and stream 3D content on YouTube’s dedicated 3D channel.
May be unfortunate feature is that the Optimus 3D is running on Android 2.2 Froyo, but let’s hope an update to the latest Gingerbread will come soon. The LG Optimus 3D Smartphone will go on sale in Europe first followed by 60 countries on coming weeks. Clove UK is offering the Smartphone now for price of £454.80 inc VAT ($733).
