New Nokia N9 MeeGo Smartphone First Press Shorts surfaced
Only a few hours remaining for the Nokia Connection event being held in Singapore, one of the most anticipate and rumored Smartphone the Nokia N9 surfaced online with new look and feel.The Smartphone design is alluring and if they are to be trusted, the N9 will in fact pack a candybar form factor, as opposed to the previously rumored QWERTY slider. It will come in an extremely slim form factor with a range of bright colors to boot – making me wonder whether this is some sort of iPod nano reboot.
When you make a closer look at the Smartphone you would notice that the display glass is slightly curved outward, now we can only guess about this new Smartphone. Even though earlier leaks brought out many features but with a such changes, there is chance for the specs to be changed as well.
According to earlier leak the Smartphone is expected to be running on latest MeeGo platform and will sport a 4-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen, sporting a resolution of 854×480 pixels, 64GB of storage, HDMI-out and a MicroSIM card slot. Recently leaked prototype images suggest a 8MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash on the rear side. There are also rumors that the Smartphone will feature 12MP camera with with 28mm wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens.

Update: According to Engadget, a leak sourced by insider, says that the new Smartphone will be running on MeeGo Harmattan and may or may not be known under the name of N9-01, and leaked images shows 8MP camera using carlZeiss lens and the screen resolution will be 960 x 540. The report also suggests a Q3 release for folk in Europe.
