Sharp AQUOS 3D Android Smartphone gets through FCC; expected to be released soon

3D Smartphones could be the next trend in the market, now we are already waiting two Smartphones from HTC and LG dubbed HTC Evo 3D and LG Optimus 3D and both are capable of shooting 3D videos. Meanwhile, it seems that another 3D Smartphone from Sharp is almost set to be released globally including US, early released in Japan the Sharp AQUOS IS12SH Android Smartphone with 3D camera has been approved by FCC, Sharp promised that it would release the Smartphone globally.

The Smartphone released in Japan is powered with 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, packs a 4.2-inch qHD (540 x 960) glasses-free 3D screen, eight-megapixel camera for 2D and 3D video and picture capturing, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, WiFi, HSDPA 14Mpbs, Bluetooth and GPS.  The Smartphone is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.

According to the FCC document the 4.2 inch qHD display and 8MP units of cameras and a tri-band CDMA radio, along with a full connectivity on board has been confirmed. More details on the Smartphone. The CDMA network compatibility normally raises questions about a potential release on the Verizon Wireless, or Sprint networks.
