Sony NEX-C3 Digital Camera Release Date confirmed to be in August; Starting Price $600

Early leaked Sony NEX-C3 digital camera has finally been unveiled; Sony claims the NEX-C3 will be the world’s smallest, lightest, interchangeable lens camera. Designed to be beginner-friendly, it features a simplified interface that switches terms like “aperture”, “exposure value” and “white balance” with “background defocus”, “brightness” and “color”.

The Sony NEX-C3 features 3″ LCD that lets you compose and preview the effect of your settings even in bright sunlight, a new design with solid metal top casing with an easy-to-use streamlined grip shape. The Camera weighs 225g and is lighter than its predecessor.

For better experience, there is an expert mode that can be enabled and highly customizable soft-keys let users bind their most frequently accessed functions. Sony claim that NEX-C3 camera’s battery will last  400 still shots per charge.

The Sony NEX-C3 will be released in August in 3 flavors of color that include silver, black, and pink and price is about $650 for camera with 18-55mm kit zoom lens (model SEL1855) while camera with 16mm kit zoom lens (SEL16F28) for about $600.
