Verizon Motorola XOOM 4G LTE Upgrade; Motorola sends e-mail to owners
Motorola has already promised an update to its XOOM tablets to support LTE network and now it seems that the time for the Update is getting closer. According to tip received by Phandroid, Motorola has started contacting owners of the Verizon branded tablet about sending the unit back to Motorola for an upgrade to 4G LTE.
Actually the update work was supposed to take place a little early according to Motorola’s promise but the company has been a little late. Motorola has been sending email to owners of the Verizon branded tablet and once the company is contacted by the owner of the XOOM, a package is sent out with instructions on how to safely send your unit back to Motorola along with shipping material.
Anyway, the email fails to inform the users of Verizon XOOM users how long it will take to get the device back to the owners after the upgrade. Since Verizon confirmed Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet on its network, there is chance for XOOM tablet to be upgraded as soon as possible.
