ASUS Eee Pad Slider Tablet Release delayed to Fall

ASUS Eee Pad Slider Tablet Release delayed to Fall

ASUS has indicated a further delay for the ASUS Eee Pad Slider, and now it seems that the tablet will only hit the shelves in Fall. Early it was promised to be released in August and now the companies facebook page confirmed it to be in fall for UK.

The Company hasn’t mentioned any reason for the delay and this not first time AUSS has delayed the release of the tablet, the tablet was originally expected to be released in April according to ASUS’s promis when it was unveiled in CES, unfortunately the tablet did see the light.

ASUS Eee Pad slider is an interesting tablet with sliding QWERTY keyboard powered by Intel’s Atom Z670 processor rather than the Tegra 2 inside  announced first. Meanwhile, a Tegra 3 based Transformer 2 has been pegged for October or November, close to what it seems will be the first-gen Eee Pad Slider’s launch. The tablet is expected to run on Android Honeycomb on board and will features 5 megapixel at rear and a 1.2 megapixel at front. Anyway, better to wait for the tablet if it brings something better than what we get from early releasing tablet.
