BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphone gets through FCC

Since RIM announced the new touchscreen-equipped BlackBerry Bold 9900 early in May, Consumer all over the world have been waiting for the device but unfortunately Company has delayed the release to September but there is also a speculation that the Smartphone could be released by the mid of August. Anyway, now the Smartphone has visited FCC and seems to be further closer to the release. FCC documents show that the handset has just passed through, signaling that the hardware, at least, is ready for a fall launch.

In the BlackBerry Series this is the first Smartphone to have a touchscreen on board, the device powered by a 1.2GHz processor sports a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen along with a full and typical blackberry QWERTY keyboard, 8GB of storage, microSD card slot, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of 720p HD video capture. The Smartphone is running on BlackBerry OS 7 and will feature NFC capability. This device will be hitting the T-Mobile network with support for their HSPA+ 4G network. Recently Virgin Mobile revealed that the BlackBerry Bold 990 Release is “Super Soon”. Anyway, it shouldn’t take a further long time, so stay tuned for further details.
