BlackBerry Torch 2 gets through FCC; heading to AT&T?

RIM is about to launch 7 blackberry OS Smartphones this year and it seems these phones include BlackBerry Bold 9900, the BlackBerry Monza, and the BlackBerry Torch 2. The BlackBerry Torch 2 has passed the FCC and appears to be heading to AT&T as earlier reports.

The Smartphones is filed with a support for GSM 850 an 1900 bands along with WCDMA bands II and V and that confirms the device will be heading to AT&T. BlackBerry Torch 2 was allegedly appeared on BGR early and they had an hands-on treatment with the new Torch 2.  However, there’s no mention as to whether the device will support HSPA+ or have NFC.

The device is expected to have noticeable improvements that include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display that has a 640×480 resolution, running on a 1.2GHz processor with 768MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, and a 5-megapixel camera.
