Cincinnati Bell releases HSPA+ 4G Network

Cincinnati Bell has announced that they have released their HSPA+ 4G network in their home market of Cincinnati and will work with the Huawei Ascend X 4G Smartphone, the Company claims that this new network will have speed of up to 10Mbps.

The Speed is expected to be twice as fast as the 4G networks on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile according to the company, interestingly the company hasn’t mentioned Verizon’s LTE network in the claims. However this fast should satisfy the owners of the Ascend X 4G living in Cincy.

It boasts a 4.1-inch screen, Android 2.2 Froyo, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording capabilities. The owners of the Huawei Ascend X 4G, HSPA+ will not be limited to the Cincinnati on this network and will be capable of roaming on other networks when available.
