New Motorola LTE Tablet gets through FCC; XOOM 2?
When it comes to the Motorola XOOM tablet, there has been disappointments for many of its users by lagging upgrade to LTE and still waiting for the upgrade, when the tablet was released it lacked working SD card slot as well as USB port. Meanwhile, the Verizon recently teased a new tablet on a video in which that seemed to be Motorola XOOM 2 or the same with a little modification but no info was revealed in the video other than the tablet itself and now it seems that the tablet is getting closer to be revealed.
FCC has approved a new tablet with LTE/CDMA radio and the test reports reveal that the IHDP56LU2 is a tablet that measures 259mm long and 166mm wide. The FCC filing doesn’t contain much information, but what we do know is that it has an LTE radio built in.
This new may bring more disappointment to those who have been waiting for their tablet to be upgraded to LTE device since the new tablet will ship with built-in LTE modem and you may have noticed that XOOM WiFi tablet had a slight price cut by $100. Anyway, we will have to wait a little long to know more about this tablet so stay tuned for more update on the device.
