Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9103 with Tegra 2 visits FCC

A few days ago Samsung announced that Galaxy S 2 sold over 3 million in 55 days but yet the the company hasn’t revealed anything related to the release of Smartphone in the US.  There has been a rumor that the Smartphone would be released on AT&T’s network as Samsung Attain . Today we have a news from FCC that a model no GT-I9103 approved with AT&T frequency.

According to FCC filing, there will be a change in goodies under the hood, It seems that Samsung Galaxy S2 AT&T variant will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor instead of Samsung’s 1.2GHz Exynos chipset.  Early there was a report that in some countries Samsung would use tegra 2 chipset for Samsung Galaxy S 2  and now it has almost been confirmed that this Smartphone will be sold in U.S.

It may be disappointing to some consumers who have been waiting for the Smartphone even while Tegra 2 can manage faster processing to handle anything since Samsung’s Exynos silicon has the upper hand according to some benchmarks.  However, do you think that this would cause consumers to think about other than Samsung Galaxy S II?
