Samsung releases Galaxy Ace S5830 2.3.3 Gingerbread Update

After a long time of unofficial leak of Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread ROM for Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone, Samsung has finally started to roll out the update for the Smartphone now and will bring bug fixes as well as Gingerbread 2.3.3. SamFirmware is reporting that Samsung has started rolling out the Gingerbread update for the Ace through Kies.

According to reports, The first countries to benefit from Samsung’s update are Russia and Poland, but others are expected to get it soon as well. The update will also meet security holes and bring enhanced copy-paste functionality apart from other features. Samsung Galaxy Ace by specs not at all a high-end device but it surely has capability to get things done.

Samsung Galaxy Ace sports an 800MHz processor, 3.5″ 16M-color TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen of HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution, 278MB of RAM, 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash, microSD slot (up to 32GB, 2GB in box). For connectivity the Smartphone features Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n and DLNA, GPS with A-GPS connectivity; Digital compass, microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.1 and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support.
