ASUS Eee Pad Slider Release Date confirmed to be in September; 3G Variant in 2012
After a long time of announcement, the ASUS Eee Pad Slider finally confirmed to be released in September in Europe, and will only be available in WiFi version. Yet there is no any particular date for the release in any country yet but surely see it soon. unfortunately there is no info on the release in the US. According to reports, 3G variant is not expected earlier than 2012.
the tablet priced at €499 ($718) off contract is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 chip and features 10.1 inch IPS touch-screen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, USB 2.0 Connector paired with USB Host function allowing you to connect compatible devices such as a mouse or USB storage for your media. The tablet will be running on Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
For connectivity the device will have WiFi, Bluetooth and HDMI on board. The device will also have cameras of 5 megapixel at rear and a 1.2 megapixel at front. The slate will be available “pearl white” and “metallic brown” flavors.
