ASUS Eee Pad Slider Specs official; Release expected in September

After the release of ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, our next attention  may go to ASUS Eee Pad Slider, since it was first revealed at CES back in January, the device has been on rumors regarding to its specs and release. And recently Asus confirmed the device is actually alive and wouldn’t be canceled. According to new report from Italy, the release of the device is getting closer and will be offered in 16GB and 32GB storage flavors, recently there was a report that the device would go on sale in September at least in Europe, no details on US availability though.

The 16GB of the EE Pad Slider will be offered for €479 and 32GB for €599 while $400 and $550 models should hit the US. ASUS has also revealed the official specs of the device on its website no. According to ASUS, the tablet powered by 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor features 10.1″ LED Backlight WXGA (1280×800) Screen with 10 finger multi-touch support, 1GB of RAM, 5 M Pixel Rear Camera, 1.2 M Pixel Front Camera for video calling, Full QWERTY keyboard and Android 3.1 Honeycomb on board.

When it comes to connectivity, the device has WiFi and  Bluetooth and ports include USB 2.0, mini-HDMI, microSD card reader and 1 x Audio Jack (Headphone/Mic-In). The company will also offer one year of “unlimited ASUS Web Storage” for your cloud computing needs. Unfortunately, there is no details about the release date, but we hope it will be revealed soon by ASUS.
