AT&T HTC Jetstream 4G LTE Tablet Specs, Price and Release Date officially revealed
After a long time of rumors and leaks, one of the most anticipated tablets early codenamed as HTC Puccini finally unveiled. The new tablet is dubbed HTC Jetstream and heading to AT&T as rumored early. interestingly the device will be the first AT&T 4G LTE powered tablet on the network. The tablet will support both HSPA+ and LTE for faster connectivity.
The device comes with Android 3.1 on board while a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor under the hood. The device has 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 760 (WXGA), yet biggest camera on the rear side for a tablet first, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video call and a microSD card slot.
The table will also feature company’s capacitive stylus, the HTC Scribe but this time for free. The Jetstream tablet has 7,300mAh juicer powering and a reworked HTC Sense UI. The whole tablet measures in at 7 x 9.87 x 0.51 inches and weighs 25oz.
AT&T has priced the HTC Jetstream 4G LTE tablet at a hefty $699.99 with a new, two-year agreement and will offer a new $35 data plan for 3GB of data per month, the device will be released on September 4th. You can also have the tablet with pre-paid data of 250MB monthly for $14.99 or 2GB allowance for $25. Anyway, one thing to note that you may not be able to utilize the LTE capability on AT&T network soon since the company hasn’t launched it yet, after all, it seems that the launch of AT&T LTE service is a step ahead with this announcement.
